Welcome to Waltham Wolves Youth Football club.

Founded in 1971.

Waltham Wolves Wildcats!

Waltham Wolves Football Club are launching a SSE Wildcats Centre to the local community which will enable girls aged 5 – 11 to come and play football on a regular basis. What is a SSE Wildcats Centre? In spring 2017, the Football Association and SSE team up to launch a new initiative, SSE Wildcats, which are designed to inspire girls who are aged between 5 to 11, to get involved in football.

Did you know?

  • Only 3% of mini soccer teams are girls only
  • Just 41% of girls aged under 10 play football, compared to 95% of boys
  • The majority of girls want girls only football

All our sessions will be delivered by FA qualified coaches who will provide a safe place for girls to try football for the first time and develop key football skills. More importantly it’s a safe environment for the girls to make brilliant friendships and have fun together. Our mission is simple, it is to ensure the girls play football for fun.

When and Where?

Sessions will take place on a Friday evening between 5PM to 6PM at Swanmore Leisure Centre on their newly transformed MUGA pitch (by the car park). Your first two sessions are free of charge and then we charge £3 per session. We would recommend that the girls wear comfortable sportswear in the first instance, so please do not feel you have to go and buy football boots, let them come and enjoy themselves first and foremost.
